The Racine County Adult Protective Services Unit can be reached at


from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm to confidentially report suspected Elder abuse or an adult at risk. 

After hours please contact the 24 hour Crisis line at 262-638-6741

If it is an emergency situation Dial 911.

Please do not use email to make a report as it is not confidential or monitored 24/7.


If the abuse or neglect is occurring in a Wisconsin State Licensed Facility (nursing home, rehab, assisted living or such) call: 
     Ombudsman for the Elderly and Disabled: 1-800-815-0015.


If the abuse or neglect is occurring outside of Racine County, Wisconsin call: 

     Eldercare Locator: 1-800-677-1116 or refer to the Wisconsin Department of Health & Family Services Internet listing of Wisconsin County Elder Abuse Agencies at to find the county agency you need, or call your local law enforcement agency.  To report abuse taking place outside the state of Wisconsin, contact the National Adult Protective Services Association (NAPSA)
