Racine County offers a nutrition program to adults over the age of 60 years. This program is available throughout Racine County and can be modified for special diets. Deadline for making reservations to eat at any of the Dining Centers is Noon of the preceding business day. Anyone 60 years or older and spouse of any age are welcome. There are a variety of nutrition dining sites as well as the Meal-on-Wheels program (meals delivered to your home if you are homebound). The Wisconsin Statewide Parent-Educator Initiative (WSPEI) is a service for families, educators, and others interested in parent-educator partnerships for children with disabilities., WSTI is a grant funded project through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) to improve results for youth with disabilities. The coordinators in each of the 12 Cooperative Educational Service Agencies (CESA) provide assistance at the local level to promote understanding and implementation of IDEA transition requirements and best practice. This initiative is carried out in Racine County in conjunction with Racine County school systems and area disability service providers.
